How to wear

  1. Your physiotherapist will contour the aluminium frame to the shape of your spine and the corset section will be fitted appropriately based on your waist line. It will be tightened by your physiotherapist at the back (lace section).
  2. Place the brace on the back of the patient in upright position, keeping the lower horizontal splint just over the lower edge of the spine. Vertical splints centering the vertebral column.
  3. Wrap the elastic panel around the waist. Fasten hook and loop tape to a comfortable compression level.
  4. Put the thoracic band (the extra band with splint) at its position and fasten hook and loop to a comfortable compression level
  5. Then the shoulder straps are thrown over the shoulders.
  6. Place the patient’s hand on the top of the hips, so that the chest bulges out and shoulder is fully stretched backwards.
  7. The shoulder straps are brought back through the axilla. They are then pulled through the buckles, tightened and fastened to the loop tape provided at the lower back.
  8. In case of undue pressure or pain at any point, re-adjust the position of the splints perfectly or consult your doctor.
